Please provide a picture of your VIN, old wheel, & new wheel. We no longer guarantee support w/ aftermarket stereos. We cannot take returns for this part. You are welcome to try though see below notes for pioneer or alpine. 

GPS Adapter can only support authentic OEM equipment and will not be able to support non-OEM steering wheel. Any purchases resulting in failure of usage due to non-OEM products will having a restocking fee of $40. Thank you for the understanding and continue support!

*If you have a 911 997.1/987.1 you will need to upgrade the steering column control module to 997.2. It will allow multifunction to work with the STMV1 adapter.  So you need they STMV1 adapter and this module. 

*Original with sport style steering wheel car upgrade multifunction steering wheel,need coding the vehicle steering control module from sport style wheel to multifunction,input "Multifunction enable code" activate MF by PIWIS. (If original equipped sport design steering wheel (With PDK shifts paddles version) and sport chrono package,no multifunction enable code needed).

If old wheel was not heated but new one is - you will need:

For 997.2/987.2
the steering control module here and You will need  this clock spring part available here for a 997.2. Not for a 997.1/987.1 because right now heated upgrades are not supported. Other models of Porsche are supported like

991.1/981/958.1. 

Instructions on how to replace clock spring with heating support, PIWIS activate heating function needed.

For some models you may not be able to change the joker button default… Until we find a way. 991.1/991.2/970/958 have setting menu in dash, you can change joker key function.

STMV1/STMV1-H can’t support MODE SWITCH knob change drive mode (Chrono dial knob)

If new steering wheel is 971 panamera style, please select STMV1-971 adapter.

As mentioned, we do not guarantee that it will work with aftermarket stereos. There is a possibility, though if you already have it working with a stock steering wheel that it may still work without having to do anything. But if it doesn’t, you will need something like this for example: Kenwood, Pioneer, Alpine, Sony, Clarion, or JVC.
